The island feels like a peaceful animal sanctuary, where you can see different animals roaming freely in a natural environment. It is also a lovely place for birdwatching, with many species of birds around the island and lake.
There is also a bar serving food and drinks, which is convenient after the walk. Crescent Island can be reached by boat, and the boat trip may also include a tour of the nearby parts of Lake Naivasha.
Our boatman, Peter, was very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He shared useful information with us and made the boat trip even more enjoyable.
