点评：After seeing Cadolzburg Castle in a social media post about Bavaria's most beautiful fortresses, castles and palaces, my boyfriend and I were pleased to learn that it was only about a 1.5-hour drive from us. We visited in early september and happened to arrive on a perfect day, as a medieval family program was taking place.
Cadolzburg Castle is an impressive medieval fortress with a long and fascinating history and was once an important residence of the Hohenzollern family. The castle has been beautifully restored and now offers modern, well-curated exhibitions that present its history in an engaging and easy-to-follow way. We really enjoyed exploring the interior rooms and learning more about the castle's past.
Another highlight was the castle garden, which offers lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. After walking through the exhibitions, it was the perfect place to relax and take everything in. Overall, the combination of history, architecture, and the special event made this visit truly memorable, and we would highly recommend Cadolzburg Castle as a day trip in Bavaria.
