点评：lovely trip, short walk from db seabank which is where we were staying. the times for opening were slightly different from what it said on the website. On the maps it shows more places to walk than was open. however it was still a nice walk down to the bird hide, we spotted 3 skinks. huge grass hoppers, lizards on walls of the hide, but no chameleans. we did see a number of people pointing up to the trees and taking photos but we didnt see anything. everyone has mentioned that the staff were helpful but i didnt find them very approachable. one staff was looking into the trees and had obviously spotted something and i approached and tried to look too but they didnt try to help and dint even offer a smile. from the bird hide we spotted yellow wagtails, a number of wading birds, sparrows and in the distance egrets, both cattle egrets and little egrets. we did visit twice whilst staying in malta, saw the same things both times. i did get bitted by a mosquito on our second visit, i literally saw it on my skin feeding, and got an extremely itchy bump that lasted 2 weeks later, in fact its still a bit itchy now. so keep arms and legs covered. There was around 10 -15 people visiting at the same time as us, so it didnt seem overcrowded at any point and plenty of room for everyone. It was free to enter and we did put some change in the donation box. We stayed both times for just over an hour. Best for nature lovers and families exploring the nature of malta.
翻译：这次旅行很愉快，从我们住的DB Seabank酒店步行即可到达。开放时间与网站上显示的略有不同。地图上显示的步行路线比实际开放的要多。不过，走到观鸟屋的路上仍然很惬意，我们看到了3只石龙子、巨大的蚱蜢，还有蜥蜴趴在观鸟屋的墙上，但没有看到变色龙。我们看到不少人指着树拍照，但我们什么也没看到。大家都说工作人员很热情，但我感觉他们不太平易近人。一位工作人员正在树上观察，显然发现了什么，我走过去也想看看，但他并没有主动帮忙，甚至连个微笑都没有。在观鸟屋里，我们看到了黄鹡鸰、一些涉禽、麻雀，远处还有白鹭，包括牛背鹭和小白鹭。我们在马耳他期间去了两次，两次看到的鸟都一样。第二次去的时候我被蚊子咬了，我亲眼看到它在我皮肤上吸血，然后起了个奇痒无比的包，两周后才消下去，实际上现在还有点痒。所以一定要把胳膊和腿遮住。当时和我们一起参观的游客大概有10到15个，所以一点也不觉得拥挤，空间很宽敞。入场免费，我们还往捐款箱里放了些零钱。两次我们都待了一个多小时。这里非常适合热爱自然的游客和想探索马耳他自然风光的家庭。
