Fun night out, but prepare to be super comfy with your table mates

点评：We were excited to visit the Improv and enjoy some comedy, and met here with another couple for a night out. Ticket prices were in total around $40 with fees, so not outrageous. When we arrived, the venue was about half full, and the tables at Improv are very small. I'm not a large person, and still we felt crammed at two four-top tables that weren't very big, and we were seated next to another set of four people. I kept bumping into the man sitting next to me due to the close proximity of seating. It's definitely a place that they are packing people in to get maximum seats, and it was a bit more difficult to see the stage. There was also limited space on the table for the number of menu items we ordered.
I ordered a cosmopolitan, and what I got was a Cape Cod with no ice, in a martini glass, which was somewhat amusing. I let the waiter know, and they brought a lemon drop which seemed to be made correctly but was a little light. The wait staff worked hard and did a good job with service. The food was mid--we had the spinach and artichoke dip, calamari, quesadillas from the appetizer menu. OK, and average/not stellar fare. Compared to Mic Drop Comedy for service, food and drinks and stage visibility, I would rank Improv a second choice as a venue.

我点了一杯大都会鸡尾酒，结果端上来的是一杯没有冰的科德角鸡尾酒，装在马提尼杯里，这有点搞笑。我跟服务员说了，他们又给我上了一杯柠檬水，这杯柠檬水看起来做得对，但是味道有点淡。服务员很努力，服务也不错。食物一般——我们点了菠菜洋蓟蘸酱、炸鱿鱼和墨西哥薄饼，都是开胃菜。还可以，但算不上惊艳。如果从服务、食物、饮品和舞台视野来看，Improv 比 Mic Drop Comedy 好一些，我会把它排在第二位。
