点评:Hiking and dogs? What could be better! My daughter and I eagerly joined a large group of people on the hike up Mt Solmar at 8am one beautiful Friday morning. The walk is managed by Enrique who also runs a dog training/doggie daycare facility at the base of the mountain. He runs the hikes for free, but asks for tips at the end. Enrique lays out the ground rules at the beginning, but he leaves it to his hikers to determine whether they’re outfitted appropriately or physically fit enough to make it up and down the hot, steep, strenuous climb. The trek up is a cardio test (be smart and go at your own pace) while the climb down is more about agility and footwork. The views at the top are absolutely gorgeous! We made it up and back in about 2 hours (which included time at the top). It was one of our most memorable and fun Cabo experiences, but it’s not for everyone. If you go, you will need sunscreen, water, and a good pair of sneakers. There’s no place to buy supplies there. Also, be honest about your level of physical conditioning — people with medical conditions and/or a fear of heights, or dogs or snakes (which we didn’t see but are around), should likely take a pass.
