Fun - but a tad too quick!

点评：It was great cycling with Sebi and a couple of others to Boschendale on the e-bikes. We went through some of the trails and old roads before reaching the summit of the first big hill between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. The bikes were excellent, plenty of batter and power – and the tyres were sufficiently wide to allow for the rough stones on some of the trails and also the smooth tarmac of the old hill road.
It was very enjoyable – but I have two small niggles, the first was that it was too quick – we were finished in under two hours and for ZAR 1080, that’s quire pricey especially as a day’s hire of an e-bike is ZAR 750. The second it that its not possible to book as a solo traveller, you have to go in person to do that. An irritating technical fault that almost saw me go elsewhere.
However, I am glad I didn’t, it was a fun (if short) morning.
