点评：My daughter and I traveled to England this September. It was my first time in England, and I wanted an experience beyond London and to explore the Cotswolds and the Coast. I did not feel comfortable driving on the left side of the road and wanted to hire a driver. Sebastian of ExeQline Chauffeurs & Transfers was recommended to us through our travel agent. This recommendation was the most valuable recommendation she provided. Sebastian stayed in constant communication throughout the planning stages of our trip. He provided recommendations about the villages to see, where to eat along the way and side attractions enroute.
The first few days of our trip we stayed in Oxford. Sebastian picked us up at the hotel at our pre-arranged time. He was very polite and easy going, punctual and professional, and made an excellent impression. He arrived in a luxury vehicle, immaculately clean, and ultra-comfortable and spacious. The car was thoughtfully supplied with water, tissues, hard candy, gum, hand sanitizer, even an umbrella for the rainy days.
Sebastian calculated the driving times and worked with us on the best pick up times to make the most of our day. In total we used his services for 3 days. The first day we made a visit to
Sudeley Castle, then headed to Stow-on-the-Wold with lunch at The Porch. We decided to spend more time Sudeley Castle than we originally anticipated. Without prompting, Sebastian took the initiative to call ahead to The Porch to move up our reservation. After a wonderful lunch and walking around Stow, we drove to Bourton-on-the-Water to explore and then headed back to Oxford. The next day Sebastian picked us up and brought us from London from Oxford. For the ride to London, we had two large, VERY heavy suitcases, a large backpack, a small carry on and 2 personal items. Sebastian didn't blink an eye and lifted our bags into the trunk of his car without hesitation. Later at the drop off, he carried them up the steps to the hotel- without complaint or a grumble--very impressive! We made a day of our return trip to London by stopping at Grays Court and Windsor Castle. Sebastian also made helpful suggestions about where to eat and tours to take in Windsor. A few days later Sebastian picked us up in London for a day trip to the coast. Traffic was heavy that morning, but he remained in communication with us, so we knew when to expect him. At his suggestion, we made a fascinating stop at Scotney Castle and then headed to our coastal destination- Seven Sisters.
At Seven Sisters County Park, Sebastian waited patiently as we walked along the coast. He never made us feel rushed and reassured us that the day was ours to enjoy.
Overall Sebastian made the drive go by quickly. He was conversational and interesting, while always remaining professional. My daughter and I felt comfortable to speak among ourselves, speak with Sebastian, or not speak at all and quietly appreciate the scenery.
Sebastian is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. My daughter and I felt very safe with him at the wheel. In summary, I have only high praise for this car service. Sebastian is an excellent driver, the car is luxuriously comfortable, and he is very helpful in planning the exact kind of activities we wished for on our daytime road trips.
