点评:We attended the School of Artisan food for a Christmas Party experience. We were a party of 22 and the whole booking experience was simple. Ellie Mae was so helpful during the booking, fully explaining how the class would run, including all the timings, what we needed to bring. We had the choice of making sausage rolls and scotch eggs or a Christmas Pudding. We chose the Christmas Pudding option. We had to make a number of changes from when we first booked to when we attended and Ellie Mae managed all the changes so well.
On to the cooking experience itself. Also included with our Christmas Pudding was making Spelt bread and how to use leftover Christmas Pudding to make Eccles Cakes. Paul, our tutor, and his Sous Chef were extremely informative and helpful when it was needed particularly when shaping Eccles Cakes😊 There was a great atmosphere with plenty of laughter and banter between students and tutors.
The Stollen Cake provided when we had our tea/coffee break was absolutely delicious.
The whole team at the School were brilliant and completely unflappable. Thank you all for making our Christmas Party a huge success.
