Perfect base for an Eryri/Snowdonia hiking weekend.

点评：We’ve just spent the weekend at Plas Y Brenin and it worked perfectly as a base for a couple of days hiking in Eryri/Snowdonia.
The location in Capel Curig is hard to beat, right in the heart of the mountains and ideally placed to get out quickly onto some fantastic routes.
We stayed in a twin room with an en suite, which was clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed after long days on the hills. No fuss, just well set up for people who are there to be outdoors.
Breakfast was spot on. Plenty of choice and exactly what you want before heading out for a full day’s hiking. And the bar was a great place to unwind in the evening, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We weren’t there for courses or activities, just using it as accommodation, but for that purpose it couldn’t have been better. We’ll definitely be back.
