Ardenwood Historic Farm的点评
点评：The concept is good---but very little happening while we visited.
The railroad was closed for construction, the cafe and blacksmith were shut and even though the board posted regular demos-we couldn't find any running.
The only animals were turkey, chicken, peacock, rabbit, sheep and goat.
We wandered through the open buildings; seeing farm equipment and never saw a staff person (had to stop one driving out by the field to ask a question-he didn't know the answer) and no other visitors (but could hear a group of kids in the back field playing and say a few folks walking in as we walked out.
The staff in the ticket booth was friendly, but this was a sad visit....like a ghost town after the residents moved for an overtaking disease or something.
It was a good walk in the CA warmth; but not even a place to by a cool drink.
The most interesting site was the water tower with quest accommodations on the upper floor and storage or animal area below--crafty!
