Best bird of prey centre.
National Centre For Birds Of Prey的点评
点评：Arrived and we were met with a friendly lady on the admissions desk. We went straight in to find the bird flying area and we were not disappointed with the performance.
The handlers knew the birds well and despite one falcon flying off 2000ft into the air for 20 mins, he entertained the crowd and was very knowledgeable about the birds. The falcon did return and we got to see a very impressive stoop. I think the bird handlers were called Charlie and Kieran. Both very good!!
They had the birds fly right over our heads which the kids loved and we got to see them very closely as they perched around the audience.
After this we headed to the cafe and had a lovely lunch. Food was made fresh and very good quality.
Then we had a look around the aviary’s, there was an extensive and impressive group of birds, ones I have not seen anywhere else before. They all looked well looked after and had good enclosures.
The centre is located in a beautiful area with plenty of parking. Would definitely come back and would definitely recommend.
