National Centre For Birds Of Prey的点评
点评：What an amazing experience!
Today we visited the National Centre For Birds Of Prey at Duncombe Park.
My wife has wanted to do this for years and I have always been reticent. I was interested but not motivated to get it booked in etc.
We turned up this afternoon and there was a brilliant flying demonstration consisting of
A red footed falcon (which perched on my wife’s head)
A huge sea Eagle which was awesome and a long eared owl which brushed against my shoulder.
Then we went on the hawk walk with Charlie the handler and Chip the Harris Hawk. This was anbsolutely awesome!
We walked about a mile to a mile and a half through the woods with Chip flying off and then landing on our gloved hand (we did this about 20 times and it took us an hour and a quarter) I would never have guessed that the Harris Hawk was about to become my favourite bird of prey.
The day was already a 10 out of 10 when there was yet another flying demonstration consisting of a Buzzard, a grey owl and a different Sea Eagle and then to finish off 5 kites which just larked about which was absolutely glorious!
My sincere apologies that it took me so long to book this for my wife’s Birthday and I absolutely guarantee that I will be back for another experience very soon.
I genuinely can’t recommend this highly enough!
