Poorly maintained gear and game fishing experience

点评：We paid $2,670 for an 8-hour game fishing charter and it was extremely disappointing. The gear was poorly maintained, rods with missing porcelain which would snap on hooking any gamefish, and there were only a handful of poor-quality lures.
We booked to target wahoo, sailfish, or yellowfin tuna and having trawled unsuccessfully turned to bottom fish however this was done with poor rods, small hooks that were not suitable for small reef fish and the anchor had no chain so constantly pulled. We were also refused requests to fish under working birds towards the end of the day, under the advice they were directly on the reef only to watch another boat head straight there.
To make matters worse, we were brought back early, pressured to tip, and our complaint to the Denarau office was completely ignored.
For the price, this charter was poor value and I would not recommend it. I understand with fishing results are not guaranteed and that is not the concern here.
