点评：The 'self-guided tour' for $9 was a big rip-off. You read a few posters in the Visitor Center, viewed a running video, then took a look at a room with many plants. walked yourself outside the building where you viewed the building roof. Then you walked across a muddy area to a large, unlabeled building. We had no idea what it was other than the sign that basically said keep out - private. There were multiple signs, all saying do not enter, private - in other words, you were not even allowed to walk around and view the Earthship community. Felt very unfriendly; considering the $9 tour, it was sorta ridiculous. I get that they are private homes, but I live in a community as well. There are no signs telling people to keep out. I learned nothing from this experience or the tour. The entire tour took 15 minutes, and that was stretching it.

There's also a $22 guided tour but based on my personal experience, I would recommend against any tour of the Earthship area.
