Monsaraz castle a must visit - but be careful of the ginger cat!

点评：We had a wonderful stay and walk around in Monsaraz Castle
We arrived late afternoon with the hope to find accommodation = but apparently this castle has very limited accommodation and is booked up months in advance
A very nice lady offered to call a friend and she had accommodation close by in a small town a few km’s drive from the castle
What amazed me is that very limited english was spoken but between google translate, hand signals and nodding and smiling we managed to get accommodation
Whilst I was busy to get accommodation by daughter stumbled onto a ginger cat in the castle - at first he was friendly - she petted him and then walked away - the next moment he attached her and bit her on her arm - quite viciously - the same lady gave us disinfectant and helped us with the deep bite wounds - this was an aweful experience and another hotel owner up the main entrance to the castle told us that that cat is the GENERAL OF THE CASTLE and has bad manners - my advice PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THE CATS AT MONSARAZ CASTLE - my daughter ended up (a few days later on antibiotics and I still think that a tetanus injection was necessary but nobody nor any doctor at an ER felt the need)
The castle has beautiful cobble streets, little restaurants, nice photo opportunities and are set on a hill over looking the valley

城堡里有美丽的鹅卵石街道、精致的小餐馆，是绝佳的拍照地点，坐落在俯瞰山谷的山丘上。
尽管我们被猫咬了，但这里仍然是该地区的必游之地。
