Poor service at Lugano location ruins a long-standing tradition

点评：We have always considered Läderach the gold standard of Swiss chocolate and hospitality. On this trip—our third to Switzerland from the US—we brought our elderly parents to the Lugano store (Via Pessina) expecting the same warm welcome we’ve had in Zurich, Luzern, and Basel.
Instead, we were treated with surprising rudeness. Despite already committing to a purchase after the first sample, the agent refused further samples, stating our group of 8 was too large to accommodate. It felt incredibly unwelcoming to be treated as if we were "taking advantage" when we are long-time, high-spending customers.
We left feeling very disappointed and unwelcome. If you are traveling in a family group, be aware that the service at this specific boutique may not live up to the premium Läderach reputation.
