点评:It is a small archaeological park with ancient carvings and paintings on boulders' walls. There're local government-trained park rangers/ guides who lead visitors a short trek to the site and give briefing/ history of the site. If you enjoy this type of activity you can stay may be for a couple of hours exploring landscapes and vegetations within the site. It is very small, but very interesting (to me and my family). For sightseers, There's that and a tiny museum/ gift shop/ cafe at the entrance of the site. The museum has pre-historic animals' fossils replicas (Dinosaurs of some sorts). The gift shop has t-shirts with site's logo and other popular souvenirs (coffee mug, baseball cap, tote bags, etc.) related to the site, as well as local handmade arts & crafts. The small cafe has local snacks and cold bottled water, hot coffee & sodas. Some coconut water from the refrigerated coconuts and ice cream, too. It's about 10-15 minutes drive from BR-230. So, if you have a couple of hours to spare from your trip on BR-230, I'd encourage you to visit and explore this park/ site. The admission fees is around R$10-15 Brasilian Reais or US$2.50.
