Ruined by Castle Howard takeover
Castle Howard Arboretum Trust的点评
点评：Gone downhill rapidly since the castle Howard takeover.
What used to be a pleasant, well stocked with locally sourced good quality food, staffed by a consistent team who cared about customers & the Arboretum, has turned into an overpriced, poor quality, 'take it or leave it' establishment with seats uncomfortably packed in for maximum profit.
Has little to do with the arboretum & even the 'shop' which used to stock locally sourced & crafted goods relevant to the Arboretum, now just has overpriced generic stock.
Prices have risen, as you'd expect from Castle Howard ,'a price like no other' with membership now being combined between the Arboretum & Castle Howard being expensively combined, whether you want it or not & making a mockery of the 'independent charity'.
A unique place ruined by greed.
