点评:They should arrest the managers of this arena for price gouging. These are the people that raise the price of gasoline during a shortage. They know that there is no alternative parking options (even Spot Hero cannot find an alternative parking lot), so they can charge outrageous prices for parking. It was $35.00 per car. I know that other stadiums may charge more, but the Toyota Arena is a minor-league arena in a nowhere city, not a major facility. This was a family-friendly event (The Harlem Globetrotters.) Charging families that sort of price for parking, when they already paid high prices for the tickets means that events such as this are reserved for the wealthy. The arena was maybe a quarter full, showing that many people who would enjoyed the Globetrotters were shut out. Maybe they could have offered low price tickets for the empty upper sections so that people can enjoy and learn about the Globetrotters. I spoke to staff and they told that parking prices differ by event. They told me that parking at some events was $80.00. I would advise management that they should at least be transparent about what the charge for parking will be.
