点评：Just back from 2 nights, it should have been 3 but unfortunately the dog was so unsettled we had to come home early, which was probably more to do with the high temperatures over the bank holiday weekend. This place is fantastic if you just want to relax out in the countryside as we did.
We stayed in the 1 bedroom dog friendly lodge which, on arrival, looked like we had made a mistake, until you open the door and its like a tardis. The open plan lounge and kitchen were tastefully decorated and kitted out to a good standard. Previous reviews suggested that there were no consumables supplied in the kitchen so we took our own, only to find everything was provided. The bed was comfy and a good size, as was the bedroom, with plenty of storage, and there was a huge bathroom with a full bath and separate shower.
Open the double doors in the lounge and there is a fully fenced off deck, which was gated, despite previous reviews suggesting it wasnt. The view was of trees and an open field beyond and very private.
Due to its location there is very little noise other than the local wildlife.
We ate at the bar/restaurant a couple of times as well as spending Saturday afternoon sat chiling on the veranda overlooking the golf course. Prices for the food and drinks were very reasonable and both were of a very good standard.
Would we go back, definitely, but probably without the dog next time!

由于地理位置优越，除了当地野生动物的叫声外，几乎听不到其他噪音。
我们曾在酒吧/餐厅用餐几次，还在周六下午坐在俯瞰高尔夫球场的阳台上放松身心。食物和饮品的价格都非常合理，而且品质也相当不错。
我们会再次光顾吗？当然会，不过下次可能不会带狗了！
