点评：We took the one day Louise Island tour. I wanted to enjoy this more but it didn’t meet expectations. The drive to and from the launch was long. We did have the opportunity to see sea lions so that was a bonus but we only made one stop to get out of the boat. It was described as a walking tour but in reality it was standing and listening for 10-15 minutes and then walking a few steps to stand again. We actually walked very little. Beach combing and exploring the forest was advertised but we had no opportunity to do this. Lunch was good but we didn’t eat until 1:30 so by that time we were starving. If you do take the tour, make sure you take off your equipment at the stop. We made the mistake of leaving it on thinking we wouldn’t be long as we were supposed to go somewhere else for lunch and didn’t end up doing so because of the lack of time. Our guide was knowledgeable and we felt fortunate to learn about the Haida people.
