A nice experience
Great Victorian Rail Trail的点评
点评：While staying in Merrijig we drove to Mansfield and hired a couple of bikes and rode part of the Rail Trail from Mansfield to Bonnie Doon and back.
It was a great ride on a well formed trail , nearly all fairly flat with just a couple of uphill sections.
It was a pleasant ride on a perfectly calm and sunny day.
We left in the morning and came back in the afternoon so the sun was always behind us.
Lovely riding through the country side seeing all the cows and sheep grazing happily away.
Hay season so we saw lots of hay harvesting going on.
Birds were very active, lots of beautiful parrots and cockatoo’s , other birds you never saw but we could hear them calling.
We also came across a busy echidna, that was a treat..
We met a few other bike riders but as it was mid week the trail was not busy, it was nice riding on the bridge over the water of Lake Eildon.
A great experience, if you get the chance do it
