点评：I was on a cruise through Tahiti on my way to Hawaii and we had a stop in Love here Pearl farm. I was looking to buy a pearl for my daughter as a gift and saw a pretty pearl pendant. I was told the pearl was $100 but they would give it to me for $95. When they showed the receipt I read $95 dollars but with the conversion from XPF it was actually $950, which I realized after I got back on the ship and looked at my credit card statement. I would never have agreed to pay $950 and only decided to buy it because they were giving me a discount at 95 dollars. I corresponded with them through email and they refused to acknowledge the misunderstanding and refused to refund any of the amount which I was willing to even agree to pay $200 for it, at most. I even asked about returning it but because it would be from the United States back to Tahiti and some rules around cultured pearls being exported, they were not willing to grant a return and refund. BE AWARE OF PURCHASES WITH THEM AS THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CURRENCY EXCHANGE. HAVE THEM WRITE DOWN THE US DOLLAR AMOUNT ON A PIECE OF PAPER BEFORE LETTING THEM RUN YOUR CREDIT CARD!!
Also the pearls are not necessarily less expensive there so I would just stay away from purchasing anything from them all together. You can find a better deal either online or in the United States!
