Our family of four had the most incredible first-time aurora experience in Fairbanks, and staying at this glamping yurt made it even more special. It was cozy, warm, and perfect for our family — especially traveling with kids. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and very comfortable.
The highlight, of course, was seeing the Northern Lights! We were blessed with an unforgettable display — truly the best aurora experience we could have hoped for. Watching it together as a family from such a peaceful setting made it even more magical.
Our host, Eleanor, was absolutely wonderful. She was so informative, responsive, and accommodating. She gave us a lot of helpful information about aurora viewing, local tips, and what to expect, which made us feel confident and prepared. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests having a great experience.
If you’re visiting Fairbanks for the aurora, especially for the first time, we highly recommend this glamping yurt. It exceeded our expectations and created memories our family will treasure forever.
