点评：Our visit Scala Coeli Torres de la Clercia gave us great views of the city. The climb up is very easy and went fast. In the two towers are spiral stairs which give you even higher views, but use caution when it’s busy as the narrow stairs are two-way traffic!
We went to the ticket office the day before to ask about the next day. The young woman said that on the next day (Tuesday) visits are free from 1000 to 1200! “Come back then.”
Today we went back at 1000 and at the front was a balding man about 185cm tall with black glasses. The man, who refused to give his name, wagged his finger at us and said “completo completo, eschucha me” (full full listen to me). He was indicating that they are full and there’s no space today, and we should go away.
His friendly and sympathetic female colleague suggested we go to the salamancaymas.es website to see about tickets for today. In fact, the website to go to for tickets isalamanca.entradasdemuseos.com. There were *27* available slots for 1030 and more available at 1100, 1130 & 1200 as well! Definitely NOT full!!
When we returned at 1028 the gruff man walked away from us when he saw us return and his female colleague casually glanced at our PDF & QR code, smiled, and pointed us to the bottom of the stairs.
The gentleman with glasses should be coached about how to treat visitors to their site as there is NO reason to lie to visitors who are bringing money to their city! He is doing the city a disservice and it’s unfortunate our interaction with him is our last before we move on.
