点评:A research library masquerading as a museum. The back half of the floor is the actual book stacks and reading room, locked behind glass walls and accessible only by scholars. The front half is a chronological display of some of the books in the collection ( including the class notes of the teenaged Beatus Rhenanus ) with notes in French, English and German. The side aisles show various historical displays and videos about printing mainly directed at visiting school groups. There are scattered interactive video monitors that allow you to page through some of the books, including one for Ptolemy's atlas.
A great place for my fellow bookworms. We visited in December and there was a small Christmas market in the plaza in front of the library. Not the main market though, for that one, follow the crowd and the lights.

对于像我这样的书虫来说,这里简直是个天堂。我们十二月去的时候,图书馆前的广场上正好有个小型圣诞集市。不过,这里不是主集市,想去主集市的话,就跟着人流和灯光走吧。
