点评：We booked an overnight desert safari by email from our hometown of Munich, Germany, and received a great offer. Communication was fast and easy, and advance payment was straightforward as well.
Via WhatsApp, we arranged the pickup for 2:00 pm at our hotel in Doha. Our driver arrived about 20 minutes early, and the drive out to the desert was smooth and comfortable. We kept all our luggage with us, which was no problem at all.
The drive to the desert took almost an hour, during which we had a wonderful conversation with our driver, Iam Jamir. He shared fascinating insights into life in Qatar—his own experiences, the culture, and how daily life is organized. We really enjoyed chatting with him; it gave us new and valuable perspectives.
Once we reached the desert, the adventure truly began. We went dune bashing in his white Land Cruiser—an amazing experience! Iam is a fantastic driver, and the ride was pure fun.
Around 5:00 pm we arrived at the camp, just in time for breathtaking sunset views. The food was very good, the room was comfortable, and everything was relaxed and well organized. A school class was staying in nearby rooms, which created a lively and cheerful atmosphere in the evening -great dance music including Afro house, Arabic hip-hop, international pop.
We spend half of the night close to the water and were listening to the sea and the waves while enjoying cold soft drinks.
Highly recommended! If you can, make sure to experience the dunes. With Iam, it was an unforgettable ride.
