Stripped of its main attraction, the beach itself would be relatively ordinary, a typical stretch of soft, white sand. However, what makes it extraordinary is the distinct pink tint, which is naturally created by fragments of red coral mixing into the white shoreline over time. Because of this natural process, you will also notice a multitude of bleached coral pieces and shells washed up along the shore, which strangely adds to the rugged texture and visual appeal. Set against the backdrop of brilliant, crystal clear blue water, the contrasting colors make it an absolute canvas for photography.
Amenities here are virtually non existent since it's a remote island, save for a few basic local food stalls. Realistically, you only need about an hour or so here to walk around, take photos, wade in the water, and play with the sand before you've seen it all. Even so, it remains a must visit stop simply for the pink sand.
