Huge Disappointment
The Welcombe Spa的点评
点评：Whilst the spa was in a fabulous setting the spa itself is tired and in much need of TLC. Around the reception area was extremely dusty and unwelcoming.
The afternoon tea would've been good if the sandwiches hadn't been left out and gone dry - the bread wasn't stale it had not been wrapped up after prep, we also waited 35 mins for the afternoon tea despite it being prebooked.
It was heaving in there too, not relaxing at all and not dissimilar to a public swimming baths, floor was vile, wet and dirty with hair around and dirty towels and tissues strewn everywhere.
We had to borrow a padlock from reception to lock the lockers but when we returned that padlock had been removed and was inside the locker - we definitely didn't leave it like that! Thankfully everything was safe still.
The saving grace was the treatments, they were amazing - no complaints there.
Did I complain at the time? No, there was nobody to complain to and I think this is a huge part of the problem they are understaffed and certainly not enough people there to deal with the huge crowd of visitors - I feel for the staff, I learnt that the Manager had walked out from a staff member.
My booking was a birthday treat for my friend, I was utterly embarrassed 😩
But instead of investing in the business and people the Welcombe Hotel are clearly maximising on the poor facilities on offer - I wouldn't book again.

我当时有投诉吗？不，根本没人可以投诉，我觉得这才是问题的关键所在——他们人手严重不足，根本无法应对如此庞大的游客群体。我真替员工们感到难过，我听说经理是从一位员工那里辞职的。
我预订这家酒店是为了庆祝朋友的生日，结果却让我尴尬不已😩
但韦尔科姆酒店并没有把钱花在提升酒店运营和员工素质上，而是明显在利用其糟糕的设施牟利——我以后绝对不会再预订这家酒店了。
