点评:It's impossible to be a tourist in Downtown Vancouver and not set foot on at least a section of the popular Vancouver Seawall. The paved Seawall path, divided for cyclist (inner path) and pedestrian (outer path) use, extends from the Convention Centre to the loop around Stanley Park, to False Creek, then south of Granville Island and all the way to Kitsilano Beach Park. Out of the 20+km Seawall, we probably explored about 12km of it. By this I meant we strolled along the waterfront overlooking Coal Harbour, cycled the 9km Stanley Park Seawall loop and walked that stretch between English Bay Beach and David Lam Park.
There is no lack of stunning scenery while on the Seawall. Depending on which part of the Seawall you find yourself at, be ready for a visual treat. We saw harbour view, cruise ships, seaplanes, city skyline, mountains, open water, beaches, bridges, ferries and more. The Seawall is popular with tourists and locals alike. We saw walkers, joggers, runners, inline skaters, cyclists... If it were in my area, I'd need little convincing to exercise here, too.
Reminded me of the Waterfront Trail back home except this one is undeniably way cooler.
