Fascinating and a great time had by all

点评：My son and I went on the 110 anniversary of the battle of the Somme tour. We had the best time ever. The 3 guys that looked after us, Harry and Martin the coach drivers and James the Battlefield tour guide were great.
James's knowledge and passion for the Somme made the soldiers storys come alive. We visited lots of different places over the 3 days, and 3 days was just enough.
We stayed in the Ibis hotel in Albert. The rooms were basic but very clean and tidy and serviced everyday. There was no brew kit in the room and being an English man that was a bit off. I know we are in France but I couldn't get on with the continental breakfast. The evening menu was a bit short of choice although what we did have was good quality but we did go to the MacDonald's twice which was just across the road.
