Avoid the tours - waste of time and money

点评：Agree with a few other of the negative reviews and would say these tours are not really worth it.
We paid $35pp for a trip that included dolphin spotting, mangroves, zapatillo island visit, snorkelling, lunch stop and starfish spotting.
We saw a couple of dolphins from afar which all the boats rushed around/towards, which seemed a bit unethical. We also saw 2 sloths up in the trees, but again from a distance and nothing really special if you’ve seen them in Latin America already.
The island stop itself was marred by the poor, wet weather, however other than a few sandy beaches there wasn’t much special here either and no wildlife other than black birds. The snorkelling was for 30 minutes but everyone was back on the boat after 10 minutes as there wasn’t really anything to see other than a few, small colourful fish. Seeing the starfish at the end was probably one of the highlights, even though I’m sure you could visit starfish beach and see more clearly.
The food stop was a restaurant which had no vegetarian option other than plain white rice and salad, which paired with shrimp and rice came to $28, on top of the tour fee.
All in all, I’d avoid these tours. I don’t think there is anything super special about the beaches on the islands, and you can see just as much wildlife doing the islands yourself.
