Interesting history and a better experience than I expected

点评：I visited Tombstone for the first time recently and although a visit to the Boothill Graveyard wasn't a top priority for me during my bried time in town, I had time to stop in and was very glad that I did. I found the experience of walking through the site and seeing all the grave markers to be fascinating. The self-guided tour booklet was very helpful for finding specific gravesites. I know that most of the wooden grave markers are replicas and not the originals but they were still very interesting to see. The short walk down the hill to the separate Jewish Cemetery and Memorial was worthwhile as well. The gift shop has plenty of interesting items including historical maps and a well-stocked book section. I had a great time talking there with Toni - she's very knowledgeable about Tombstone's history. I'd definitely recommend a visit to the Boothill Graveyard if you're in Tombstone.
