From Deadvlei to Cinderella in Two Hours

点评：This review is way overdue, but I just have to write about Agbar Jasse.
After spending two weeks on expedition in Namibia, I had a long layover before my flight back to New York and decided to stop by the InterContinental spa with my suitcase. The ladies at the front desk were kind enough to store my luggage, which was such a nice start.
My original plan was simple: just get a massage.
Well... somehow I also ended up with a mini facial and a foot scrub.
I'll admit it - I wasn't exactly excited to see the bill after adding all of that😂. But then I looked in the mirror.
My face had been through two weeks of the Namibian desert and looked more like Deadvlei than actual skin - dry, tired, and completely dehydrated. A couple of hours later it was soft, moisturized and plump again. The massage made my face look slimmer, probably thanks to the lymphatic drainage, and my heels were the smoothest they'd been in I don't even remember how long.
What really impressed me was that Agbar clearly knows what she's doing. I'm not saying this because the treatment felt relaxing (it was extremely relaxing though)) I'm saying it because I could actually see the difference. I walked into the spa looking exhausted after two weeks in the desert and walked out feeling like Cinderella on her way to the ball... except my ball was a long haul flight back to New York.
She also gave me advice about moisturizers, and she was absolutely right.
So if you happen to have a layover at Johannesburg Airport and have some time to relax - go to the spa and ask for Agbar.

她还给了我一些关于保湿霜的建议，事实证明她的建议完全正确。
