Poor management and service. Overly crowded.
Mount Buller Ski & Snowboard的点评
点评：My family and I visited Mount Buller on 7 July 2026. The mountain itself is beautiful and the scenery is fantastic. But we were disappointed by the overall experience, especially considering how expensive everything is.. The biggest issue wasn’t the crowds. we understand it’s peak snow season and we’re part of that crowd too. The problem was that the resort didn’t seem adequately staffed or prepared for the number of visitors. We experienced long waits throughout the day. The shuttle buses were infrequent and overcrowded and we waited around 45 mins just to hire our snow gear due to limited staff. Unfortunately, this caused the kids to be late for their lesson. We also took the two hour first-time snowboarding lesson. While the instructors did their best, we only managed to snowboard down the beginner slope three times because we spent so much of the lesson waiting in line for the magic carpet. It felt like more time was spent queuing than actually learning.
The beginner area also felt overcrowded and at times, unsafe. There were large numbers of first time skiers and snowboarders sharing a very small learning slope, with frequent collisions and people bumping into one another. For beginners, especially children, this didn’t feel like a safe learning environment. I don’t mind that Mount Buller is busy and I believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the snow. My concern is that the resort appears to be accommodating more visitors than its facilities, size and staffing can comfortably support. From a guest’s perspective, it gave the impression that maximising visitor numbers was being prioritised over providing a safe and enjoyable experience.
Mount Buller is a stunning destination, but I hope the management invests more in staffing, transport, equipment hire and beginner facilities during peak periods so that the overall experience better reflects the premium prices visitors are paying
