Very nice place with very high pricing.
Streamsong Golf Clubhouse的点评
点评：Went to streamsong with a group of friends for a couple rounds of golf. The resort it self is very nice, all top notch. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. They should add a few more outlets around the bed area and or some USB charging ports. The lobby area offers free coffee and a nice breakfast area and brunch for around $35. There is a gift shop and a bar as well. Overall I found the rooms and the hotel area very nice, but also very pricy. We had twin queen beds with a view of the lake on the 3rd floor. $1200 a night...ouch! There are 2 large screen tvs in the room. One in the bed area and another in a nice lounge area. Eating or drinkkng anything in the room will cost you big time. A small pack of gummy bears $10 trail mix $18 a glass of wine $22 etc.
Now to the golf. We played the blue course one day and the black the next day. Golf at streamsong is unique for Florida as it has rolling hills and good elevation changes. The greens are huge with lots of undulation. There are a lot of sand traps and waist areas. I found both the blue and black courses to be fair to play. Don't get me wrong these courses can kill you if you get wild and putt poorly but if you are hitting the ball straight and putting well you can score on them. The practice areas are very good and there are several very nice putting courses which are a blast to play with your buddies after a round. Again the only thing not to like about the golf was the price. After cart fees a Caddy and tip you are looking at $400 a round. Another big ouch! Overall I really enjoyed Streamsong just know going in it is super pricy and since it is not close to any other towns you are pretty much held captive to the resorts resturants and bars and there sky high pricing. Dinner for one and a cocktail or two will run you $100 or more.
