Must stop here when you’re visiting Prince Rupert!
The Prince Rupert Visitor Centre & Port Interpretive Centre的点评
点评：The Prince Rupert Visitor Centre is absolutely worth visiting, especially if you are new to the area and want to understand how everything fits together geographically.
The displays are beautifully done, and one of my favorite features was the huge wall map. It showed Digby Island, Prince Rupert, the surrounding islands and waterways, and helped me visualize the routes we had taken by boat during my stay — including our trip toward the grizzly bear sanctuary and our whale-watching excursion. It was exactly the kind of map I had been looking for.
The Visitor Centre also has a lovely selection of locally made souvenirs and gifts. I was especially delighted to find a small handmade magnet featuring the wilderness lodge where I had stayed, complete with a grizzly bear and lodge design. The lodge itself did not sell magnets, so finding one here was such a wonderful surprise! They also carry many unique handcrafted items made from natural materials, including beautiful bark-style souvenirs.
There are other useful services and activities available as well, and I also found the cutest, most colorful little fanny pack there!
Most importantly, the staff were friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. They were happy to answer questions and made the visit even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend stopping here when visiting Prince Rupert. It is informative, welcoming, beautifully presented, and a great place to find local souvenirs and ideas for exploring the area.
