Best snorkeling experience

点评：This was a great experience. It was smooth from start to finish. They picked us up in Paje, where our hotel was at, took a van to the north side of the island. We got on a boat headed to Mneba Atoll destination. Once there, our guide Yusef (who is actually a divemaster moonlighting as our snorkeling guide that day) prepped us on the do's and don'ts of snorkeling. The dolphin swim is just dependent on your luck. You might see them, you might not. What i couldn't understand was how Yusuf was able to see the most camouflaged creatures in the reefs. He showed us stone fish, lion fish, scorpion fish and a variety of common types of marine animals. They had a go pro to record everything which was amazing cause we didn't have our own. We took a break to eat and went back in on another side of the area for different types of fish. The crew are very friendly and know what they're doing. He kept checking on us to see if you're ok. They emailed the videos to us after we left. Overall, it was the best time i had in Zanzibar. Going back next year.
Pro tip - take time to make sure your flippers and goggles fit well before heading out. It will determine the quality of your expedition. If the goggles or fins are too small, they will really hurt your feet or your face. In my experience, too big is better than too small.
