点评：During my February visit to Puri for Jagannath Temple darshan, we decided to explore something unique on our way back to Bhubaneswar—and that’s how we discovered Raghurajpur Artist Village. Honestly, it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
The village is calm, colorful, and full of artistic energy. As we walked through the narrow lanes, every house felt like a small art gallery. The walls were beautifully painted, and you can actually see artists sitting and working on Pattachitra paintings, palm leaf engravings, and traditional crafts right in front of you.
I visited with my parents, and they really enjoyed the peaceful environment and the chance to interact directly with the artists. The best part was that there is no pressure to buy anything—you can take your time, understand the art, and then decide.
We ended up buying some handmade home décor items, and the quality was genuinely impressive. Each piece felt authentic and meaningful, not like typical tourist souvenirs.
