Celebrating a 60th birthday with all the family

点评：We booked the 'throwing taster' at Tarka Pottery as part of my mother-in-law’s 60th birthday celebrations and it was such a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and really friendly, which immediately put everyone at ease - especially as we had never tried pottery before!
The instructors were brilliant: patient, encouraging, and great at explaining the techniques without making it feel complicated. It was amazing how quickly everyone got stuck in and started creating something on the wheel. There were lots of laughs along the way (and a few slightly wonky creations!), but that honestly made it even more memorable.
It was the perfect activity for a mixed group and a really special way to celebrate a milestone birthday. My mother-in-law absolutely loved it and it gave us all something unique to do together.
A big thank you to the team at Tarka Pottery for making the session so enjoyable and for helping make the birthday celebrations extra special. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun group activity.
