点评:We went on a Tui tour which took in the old market and the new Medina. Our rep warned us not to trust anyone who approached us claiming to work in our hotel - they see the all inclusive wrist bands. Also to state we have been before, this certainly helped at the traders are incredibly persistent at trying to get you into their shop. Asking where you are from and giving cockney slang words for english! They would ask what the price of tobacco was back home and try and steer you to their shop. Definately the most persistent we have evercome accross on our world travels but a polite no thank you this is our 4th time here surficed!
The goods are incredible and if you see something you like, be prepared to haggle as it is their culture. Have a price in mind you are willing to pay and as long as you stick to that, youll be happy. There are shops with fixed prices outside the Medina if you prefer not to barter but it is good fun and you can certainly get a bargain. Such a colourfull array of goods, smells of spices and a must see,
