点评：Kunming is known as the “Spring City” for a reason. Flowers are not limited to one short season here. Instead, they appear throughout the year, becoming part of everyday life. A flower-focused day in Kunming is less about chasing a single spot and more about moving through different places at the right time.
Start your morning around 8:30–9:00 AM at Yuantong Mountain, one of the best places to see cherry blossoms and crabapple flowers in spring. Arriving early helps avoid crowds and gives you softer light for photos. Walk along the hillside paths where the flowers form natural tunnels, and plan to spend about 1.5 to 2 hours here.
From there, head to Green Lake Park, about 10 minutes away by car. The park offers a different atmosphere, where flowers, water, and daily life come together. Depending on the season, you may also see winter seagulls gathering around the lake. Spend some time walking or sitting by the water before lunch.
In the afternoon, you can visit Xihua Garden if you are traveling during peak bloom periods. The long corridors of flowering trees create a strong visual impact and are ideal for a slower walk and photography.
