Good place to soak up the sunshine

点评：The first thing to know is not to go too early as many things in Kolkata open later in the morning. Also either be prepared to pay electronically with QR code or have smaller bills (100rupees or less) to use for expenses. Entry to the park is 30rs each; we also rode the paddle boats for 100rs each and saw the 7 Wonders exhibit for 30rs each.
Toilets are pay at 3rs so it's good to have change available. There are lovely gardens to see, plenty of shady sitting areas to spend several hours if you feel so inclined. The 7 Wonders was nice to see and fun to take around the world pictures. The paddle boat was also nice, though do bring the mosquito spray.
People around varied on the time of day. Not all the booths were staffed, but we were able to get a tasty lunch of chicken briyani and mango lassi. There was not too much of a crowd for the activities so we didn't wait to enter. There are also other attractions nearby that are not part of this location so it's easy to visit multiple as you like. Good place for couples, families and groups to spend several hours.
