点评：Skopje Fortress Kale is one of the most recognizable landmarks overlooking the city, with origins dating back to the 6th century AD, during the reign of Justinian I. Throughout its long history, the fortress has endured significant damage, particularly during the devastating earthquakes of 1555 and 1963, both of which left lasting marks on its structure.
Today, Kale is more of an open, atmospheric site than a fully developed tourist attraction. While it holds great historical importance, it currently offers very little in terms of exhibitions or organized content. Visitors mainly come here to enjoy the peaceful setting, take in the panoramic views of the city, and capture beautiful photos—especially at sunset.
Within the fortress grounds, there are three buildings intended to function as museums, but unfortunately, they are not open to the public yet. On the positive side, there is no entrance fee, making it an easy and accessible stop for anyone exploring Skopje.
