The perfect way to experience the W trek

点评：If you are interested in going to Patagonia, I strongly recommend booking with Extremo Chile. My friend and I booked a 3 night, 4 day guided W trek experience of Torres Del Paine and it was incredible.
Not only was the trek and the landscape picturesque but having a guided tour and everything organised for us made it even more worthwhile and enjoyable. A few call-outs that made our experience amazing and why you should book with Extremo Chile if you’re considering going to Torres Del Paine:
1. Communication prior to the trip was excellent. Carlos (the owner of Extremo Chile) replied quickly to all our questions and provided us with a packing list of things to take on our trip.
2. Carlos came to our hotel the day before the hike to confirm we had everything we needed and to answer any other questions we had. When we looked at other companies offering tours of the W trek - they included this as part of the first day to make it seem like a longer trek but you only need to do the W trek in 3 nights / 4 days. Carlos also picked us up from the hotel the morning of the first day.
3. The food was exceptional!!!!! And there was plenty of it, which you need especially walking so much. Carlos cooked for us each night and we had great fresh food. Carlos made sure to also cater for our dietary requirements. We also even had wine and beer some nights with our food!
4. The service was amazing. We booked the camping W trek, and each night when we arrived at the campsites, our tents were already set up for us and the tent, mats and sleeping bags were premium quality. We also didn’t have to carry any of these which was amazing, we only carried our snacks and personal items for the hike each day. Carlos also let us borrow hiking poles for the duration of the hike and lent us ice crampons for the first day as the Towers were quite icy. He also lent us water proof bags to put some of our clothes in when it rained one day.
5. The guide was incredible and so knowledgeable. He had 20+ years experience of Patagonia and we were able to appreciate the walk so much more.
6. It is such great value for money in comparison to other companies we were looking at. Even if you choose to not get a guide, I would still recommend the unguided tour at Extremo Chile as the food and the hire equipment at the Campsites each night (if available) are so expensive.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I have recommended to all my friends and family! If you are going to Patagonia, you must book with Extremo Chile.
