Shame the venue is so bad. Kinda spoils the amazing shows.

点评：This building needs knocking down and entirely revamping. No room for sentiment it's just not fit for purpose these days. Bar area was jam packed and uncomfortably warm so we ended up standing in corridors. The prices for drinks are an extortion. You don't mind paying a little bit more but £24.30 for a couple of wines and a lemonade is ridiculous.
The toilets are disgusting and not fit for purpose. Filthy stinky and if you're a lady you may be able to queue in time during the interval but don't hold your breath. People were still coming back well into the second half bless them.
And then there's the seating. If you book the front row upper circle it's almost impossible to get your legs in. Apparently it states when buying the tickets limited leg room, but I would say that's lie in the description as i would say there is no leg room. My wife and I, and even my kids struggled throughout the show in pain with the front pressing against my knees and the chair pressing against the back of my legs. I have some lovely bruises to show for it.
Having had knee surgery in both knees it was impossible for me to sit in these seats and complained. The supervisor was rude and just stated it said when we booked it was limited leg room.
All in all an awful dirty venue which lives on tradition and sentiment. But it needs knocking down to make way for a modern, purpose built facility with better facilities.
