点评:I have heard great things and visited the shop out of season before which was great and wanted to return for a tour of the lavender fields.
Most of the lavender was cut at the time of our tour (I understand the season is coming to a close) but was nonetheless disappointing. The weather was poor which was nobody's fault but the gazebo we sat under for the history talk had holes in it and the seats were wet.
Colin was knowledgeable and we had a late tour so may have had a long day in the rain but we found him to be quite rude. Real shame but this was not the experience I had heard such good things about.
We knew nothing about lavender and found it interesting but when questions were asked it they were not well received, as if we shouldn't be asking 'stupid' questions. The rest of the tour was awkward and the last section was like a sales pitch.
I love lavender and the shop was great but I do not recommend the tour for the above reasons. The farm has a special place in my family's heart but from this we are very deflated.
