Classic Adelaide views and a solid walk
Mount Lofty Summit的点评
点评：We visited Mount Lofty Summit and enjoyed the day out.. We caught the bus from Adelaide, changed over at Crafers, and then took the bus up to the summit – an easy trip without needing a car.
Mount Lofty is the highest point in the Adelaide Hills and has been a popular lookout since the 1800s, so it has a bit of history behind it as well.
The views from the top are lovely, looking out over Adelaide and the coastline. There is plenty of parking available if you are driving (we did not check prices).
My friend and I did the walk down from the summit and really enjoyed it. We were able to navigate the map easily enough. The lady advised we could finish the walk in 1.5 hours, but it took us about 2 hours and 15 minutes. You do need a reasonable level of fitness – even going downhill the track is quite steep in parts, so it is worth doing a bit of homework before you go.
The cafe was okay, but we enjoyed the gift shop more – a nice place to have a browse.
