Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park的点评
点评：There are two entrances to the National Park but best to avoid the one with a sign “small sandy beach” if traveling by car and go into the park at the main entrance. There’s no need to park on the road side as there is a large car park just inside the main entrance. Parking there will only cost 30 Baht. As usual, foreigners pay a higher entrance fee but it’s worth it.
It’s possible to stay overnight. If just visiting for the day allow upto four hours is you intend exploring the whole park which will include a not particularly easy trek to the small sandy beach.
The views from the path are absolutely breathtaking although as the road becomes a footpath, care needs to be taken particularly if the path is wet.
It is a popular place so best go earlier to avoid tour groups. You will certainly enjoy the experience with the magnificent views and very interesting vegetation. It’s very important to wear good footwear and take water with you. There is a cafe but it appeared closed when we visited. The National Park staff are very helpful.
