I was going to write this on the survey they sent. But it was closed. So here we are.
Do not rent a kayak here as an individual if you are a beginner paddler.
We had an unexpected change of weather with some very choppy water in the afternoon and we got vary of the big waves and had to shelter at a bay. Thankfully the owners of the house were there but this was a sail-in house. We called the “emergency” phone number which is the office number and told our situation. We were offered a guide to come get us at $200, or a water taxi at $500. We were met with a very rude Andie on the phone who had the attitude of a 16year old teenager who has a vendetta against the world. He either needs a new role or some interpersonal skills. Somehow to our luck we saw another tour group from them and ended up coming back with them. We were told the kayaks needed to be back with us as well even though the owners of the house had offered us a ride and the kayak could have been taken back after we were at shore safe. But this option wasn't received well by the company.
I am leaving this 1 star not because of the lack of reassurance and the rudeness we received when we were back on shore. My mom voiced her concern on how the situation was handled and was called “emotional” and that she needed to calm down. First of respect your elders and do not be a MISOGYNISTIC man and call women hysterical. Second of don’t apologize if you don’t mean it. We were told we took the risk to rent ourselves and had to deal with the consequences thats fine. But they could have emphasized the weather and the water changes after a certain with more diligence. Even the guide said this weather wasn’t normal and rough.
There are so may more tour companies right next to them that are friendlier with better service and care for their clientele .

我给这家公司一星评价，并非因为他们缺乏安抚，也不是因为我们上岸后受到的粗鲁对待。我妈妈表达了她对公司处理方式的担忧，却被说成是“情绪化”，需要冷静下来。首先，请尊重长辈，不要做一个厌女的男人，把女性说成是歇斯底里。其次，如果你没有诚意，就不要道歉。他们告诉我们，我们自己承担了租车的风险，必须承担后果，这没问题。但他们本可以更认真地强调天气和水流在一段时间后的变化。就连向导都说这种天气不正常，而且风浪很大。
他们旁边还有很多其他的旅行社，这些旅行社服务更友好，对顾客更体贴。
